Aujourd’hui à Rome on a annoncé que Sa Sainteté le pape François a nommé Mgr Alain Faubert, C.S.S., présentement curé de la paroisse St-Germain à Outremont (Montréal, Québec) évêque titulaire de Vico di Pacato et évêque auxiliaire à Montréal.

It was announced at the Vatican today that His Holiness Pope Francis has appointed Msgr. Alain Faubert, C.S.S., as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Montreal, Québec, and has assigned him the Titular See of Vico di Pacato.
Holding bachelor's degrees in philosophy and theology from Le Grand Séminaire de Montréal (granted by Rome's Lateran University), a Master in Theology in pastoral studies from the University of Montréal and a PhD from Laval University/Institut catholique of Paris, Bishop-elect Faubert is currently Pastor of Saint Germain Parish in Montreal (Quebec).
